[Possibility of adding pigs and kids into the late fall schedule.]

We kicked off yoga with pigs last fall with a half day retreat, hike, meditation, and delicious plant-based meal served. This year we’re simplifying and doing Yoga with Pigs with just the yoga (with pigs!) and an optional tour around our property to see future expansion plans.

Small Group Tour Info

Small group tours are offered at least one weekend a month from May – November (additional weekend days or times are often added by request last minute- feel free to ask!)

Small group tours are from 1 to 8 people and a very casual setting. All ages are welcome. Too many more humans can make more noise, chaos, or petting than the pigs seem to like. Because of this, it is essential that you rsvp and we know you’re coming ahead of time. Address and parking arrangements are provided when you RSVP. Pigs are independent creatures, and aside from any treats you offer them, they are usually quite content to graze and roll in mud, doing their own thing. Chickens may or may not be held during a tour, there’s no way to know for certain if they’ll want to be held. If they are interested, there’s nothing like snuggling a chicken; their feathers are so beautiful and soft. 3 of the 5 chickens here are usually open to some snuggling. After visiting the animals, you are welcome to join Allie on a tour around the property to see other possible expansion areas.

Without the hike around the property, the tour may last anywhere between 30-60 minutes. It depends on how many questions are asked and discussed. The walking tour of the property takes about 15-30 minutes. You are welcome to stay for 1.5 hours total and you can spend the time however you’d like. Some people like to hang back and simply observe, some people like to get all the pig and chicken love that they can. Whatever you want to do is fine; we will go over all the safety information before we meet the animals, and you will be asked to sign a waiver. We ask for a $5 donation per person that you can pay ahead of time or bring cash to the event, and we will have some merchandise for sale if you’d like to buy anything in support of the sanctuary.

If two people want to pay $5 each, you can just put $10 in the “other amount” section. Or instead of that $5… you may want to buy us some extra pig food, we go through about 150 pounds per week! Each bag of food is about $20. Thank you! We appreciate your thoughtfulness of any amount!
